About the Pastor

I totally love being in the ministry! I have a fantastic wife, her name is Teresa and we've been married for 24 years. She is also our office administrator here at WBC. We have 3 kids (Lindsay, Zach & Rachel), and I love spending time with them..

I love bike riding, fishing, and just being outdoors. I especially enjoy going to Royal's and Chief's games. My favorite cup of coffee is black and strong! I grew up in Kansas and Oklahoma.

I've been in full-time ministry for over 20 years pastoring in Texas, Arkansas and Missouri. I have a bachelor's degree in Pastoral ministry from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO.

Stuff about me you'll just have to live with: I say things like "Shake your head like this if you know what I mean." I'm always talking about going out on visitation (bass boat). I'm a Lance Armstrong fanatic. I love to tell silly jokes because I enjoy seeing people laugh and have a good time in church.

My favorite verse is Ephesians 3:20: "God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us."

I love Tex-Mex and KC BBQ!
